Phuket harbors home some of the best hotels in the world. Some of these hotels like the Amanpuri or the JW Marrott have been included in top-ten lists by countless publications. These hotels make Phuket Thailand more attractive. There are so many places to visit in Phuket. Some of the best places to go are listed below.

Patong Beach is about 15km from Phuket Town. The beach here is one of the most popular on the island and it offers lots of leisure, sporting and shopping opportunities. The beach is about 3km long. Patong is equally vibrant with its nightlife and the restaurants here serve delicious seafood dishes.

Laem Phromthep or Promthep Cape is in the south of Phuket Thailand. The term “Phrom” means “Brahma”, which signifies serenity and “Thep” means “God”. The locals here call this place God’s Cape for a reason. It is an easily recognizable landmark for the sea travelers from the south.

The second largest of the beaches in Phuket Thailand is Karon, about 20km from town. The beach has lots of great hotels and places to eat and party. The sand over here is white. Coral reef adorns the southern point of the beach and there are many stylish little restaurants that lining the streets.

Between Nai Han and Kata beaches lies another viewpoint. Breathtaking views of Kata Noi, Kata, Karon nearby islands can be seen from here.

If you like temples, pay a visit to Wat Chalong for the temple that even the Thais flock to see. If the great outdoors is more your thing, Khao Phra Thaeo is a wildlife conservation park. Virgin forest is present in this park. Many endangered animals are also raised here, which otherwise would have become extinct in Phuket Thailand. there are plenty of giant tress and myriads of creepers and climbers here. The forest vegetation in this area is spectacular.

Phuket Thailand is famous for various events and festivals. Be sure to find time to see in Chinese New Year or Thai New Year if you can, and don’t forget to check out festivals like the Old Phuket Town festival and the Phuket Vegetarian Festival. There’s always something going on in Phuket Thailand, which is no doubt why the island continues to be one of the the nation’s most popular tourist haunts.
