Chill out at Kata beach Phuket

Kata beach Phuket is just several minutes to the South of Karon Beach and is much quieter providing families and those who want casual sunbathing time a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Phuket for awhile without sacrificing all the amenities of the city.

For this reason Kata beach Phuket is very popular for those who are planning to take a vacation to Thailand with young children in tow. It does offer a decent variety of great restaurants with some nightlife but everything is much more subdued rather than raucous and you will not find as many young teenagers and college students partying which is why people looking for a quiet holiday enjoy Kata.

Kata beach also offers a variety of resorts, villas, and condos very close to the beach with contaminating its beauty since most are across the street so that once you cross over onto the white sands of Kata and look out across the shoreline you can forget you are even close to civilization. Adding to the picturesque image is the fact that the beach is lined with palm trees creating the perfect tropical exotic feel that most people want out of a holiday in Phuket.

Depending on where you choose to stay on Kata beach Phuket however, you will find a few villas and hotels that are located directly on the beachfront that are built into the natural scenery which can provide for the most restful nights of sleep that you have ever had!

Kata beach Phuket is split into two areas predominantly: Kata Centre and Kata South. Kata Centre is located on the Northern edge of the beach and is the side that is closer to Karon for those who want a touch of both worlds in one stay. Kata South on the other hand is on the far end and has its own amenities to offer such as plenty of shops that to browse in if the weather is bad or if you need a break from the sun. Also, you will find plenty of souvenir shops and stands in Kata South as well as mini-markets and convenience stores to pick up any items you might have left at home.
