When you’ve been living in Phuket for any length of time, you come to realize that Fuji restaurants aren’t that special. Fuji restaurants offer great sushi in Phuket, but the restaurants are all part of a chain that you can find all over Thailand. Basically, it’s hard to get excited about Fuji sushi restaurants if you’ve been in Phuket for longer than about two weeks.

That being said, if you’re new to Phuket and Thailand and you want to try some cheap sushi, Fuji is just about the best place to do it. The sushi at Fuji is affordable and pretty good. These Japanese restaurants in Phuket are incredibly popular with the Thais, so you might have to fight for a seat at peak times.

When it comes to sushi in Phuket, you don’t have that many options, which is suprising given that Phuket is an island. We like Fuji, but it’s not exactly the connoisseur’s choice. The Phuket City restaurant and Patong restaurant are pretty much identical.
